West Viking Bracelet

In this design, a wide flat leather strap forms the basis of the bracelet. On this strap, we have then wrapped a green natural yarn, a natural fiber thread, and a braided reddish-brown leather thread. This creates a composite impression, but with a bit of color that enlivens it. The closure is adjustable and consists of a braided leather band that can be tied to the desired length.

The jewelry is part of a series of leather bracelets, designed by us at Nordlys, where we have drawn inspiration from the Vikings. There is very little leather left from the Viking Age, so in the absence of finds, we have designed our own collection of Nordic bracelets in a pagan style. We have created a historical feel that suits the "modern" Viking. The metal is nickel- and cadmium-free. All leather is genuine, vegetable-tanned leather from cow and ox.
