These large moon-shaped earrings feature filigree work and are decorated with small droplets in geometric patterns. Here we have drawn our inspiration from the ancient Baltic and Slavic tradition of moon symbols, which were often worn by women during the Viking Age around the Baltic Sea.

They are available in two versions, one gold-coloured and one silver-coloured.

Measurements & Materials

Material: Brass Size: Height incl. hook 40mm, width 30mm
Silver-plated means that the surface of the jewelery has been silver coated with a thin layer of silver.
All Nordly's jewelery is nickel and cadmium free.
Today, brass is a mixture of copper and zinc. During the Viking Age, copper was mixed with tin in different proportions to get the same gold-like color that brass has.

Care

Silver and brass oxidize over time, you can easily polish the earrings with silver and brass polish.
This can be bought in most grocery stores.
