This historic horn champagne glass is an exciting replica from the late Viking Age. The original, held at the Trondheim Museum in Norway, is one of the few surviving examples of how horn was shaped and decorated in that era.
The rim itself is cut in a wavy shape and was once probably also adorned with a silver edge. The engraving appears to depict, on one side, a man with a drawn bow, and on the other, a man running with a sack on his back.

Care

Horn is a very durable and long-lasting material. If you want to clean or wash your horn products, simply use warm water and dish soap. If you clean with degreasing agents such as dish soap often, and to extend the already long lifespan of horn, you can also oil the horn with a vegetable oil such as olive oil.
